Chapter Room

As Benedictines, we are specially called to seek God in one another.  The Chapter Room is considered a sacred room, as it is here that we listen to God speaking to us through our prioress and one another.

Library

The library is intentionally located near the chapel.  As Benedictines,  Lectio Divina and other holy reading are seen as especially important gifts on our sacred journey.

God speaks to us through the printed word. The Scriptures and study of the Word of God have a particularly  treasured space in our everyday lives.

Just down the hall, you will find our community room.  This is where we gather, especially in the evenings to be together as family.  Sisters Dining Room, prepared for Holy Thursday

The monastic dining room is also considered a specially sacred space. As we meet Christ in the breaking the break at the the altar, so we also meet Him in the breaking of the bread at table.  Our meals in common are key moments of our common life in Christ.  In this photo the dining room is prepared for our Holy Thursday Agape meal.

They should each try to be the first to show respect to the other, supporting with the greatest patience one another's weaknesses of body or behavior.  St. Benedict
