Priory-Wide Events

                         

North America arrives in East Africa

Coincidentally, within one year of each other, Sr. Rosann Ocken (left photo) was elected prioress of the Peramiho Priory in Tanzania, East Africa in March 2007 and Sr. Michael Marie Rottinghaus (right photo) has been elected prioress of the Nairobi Priory in Kenya, East Africa in March 2008.   

 

 

On May 16, Sr. Rita Marie Tofflemire, who has returned to the United States after serving in Ndanda Priory in Tanzania, East Africa, came back from Berakah, New Hampshire where she had been participating in a nine-month renewal course. 

 

 

Sr. Lumen Odom, currently a missionary in China, visited the Norfolk Priory from May 19 to June 5. 

 

 

 

Eighteen Sisters attended the community retreat held in St. Benedict Retreat Center in Schuyler, Nebraska from May 31 (evening) to June 6 (morning) under the direction of Father Abbot Timothy Kelly, OSB from Collegeville, Minnesota.
